I just went to pick Catherine up at work.
She asked me to stop at the barn where the babies are.
The little baby - the one I got to feed the day they were born - died this morning.
The woman at the barn who has been bottle-feeding her every couple hours told us that they were pretty sure she was mostly blind, and she was still not walking as great as her sister and brother.
We are all taking comfort in the fact that the baby was well loved and hugged-on.
This is someplace for me to keep track of the memories that I seem to forget in the everyday routines of being a servant: of God, my husband and my children.
