SNOW, SNOW, AND MORE SNOW

We have snow.

I think that might the best understatement I have made in a long time.

I took a few minutes yesterday morning to visit some of my favorite people in cyberspace. Dawn had this great idea that I stole.

She decided to take pictures of the same thing outside to see the progress of the storm. I thought this was fantastic and decided to take pictures of the front and back yards to watch the snow pile up.

All those pictures were taken yesterday. The 11am picture is missing because I was out doing some last minute medicine getting. The 1pm picture is missing because we were dealing with this:

Catherine got home and parked her car in front of Frank's car. The Expedition decided it didn't like where we parked it and it wanted to go down the driveway. Both cars were parked and off! Fortunately, there was not a lot of damage to Catherine's car, but it was a bit un-nerving (and I have to admit to laughing my tooshie off!)

And now for the today photos!

The STORM commeth...

Yeah, we are in the middle of a blizzard.

I really meant to post this yesterday, but I was a little distracted by getting ready for this
"Storm of the Century"

So what was I doing to get ready for this storm?

Rearranging the living room/ school room, of course!

Doesn't everyone rearrange furniture when a storm of epic proportions is on its way?

I moved the piano to where the couch was; I put the couch by the front windows and put 'my chair' where the piano was.

And just in case you were worried, we did get the food shopping done, the laundry done, and the house cleaned. And: you might notice the very large pile of wood by the fireplace, which was cleaned out by my ever helpful son.

A New Start?

A test of sorts.....  I think I'm going to try something old-new.  It has been too many years since my last post. The world's differ...
