Sunday night, we were blessed to be able to attend a meeting where Mother Olga of the Sacred Heart was speaking. I managed to get some pictures with my phone - next time we are with Mother, I will make sure I have my camera with me.
She is such an incredible woman.
Frank and I have been blessed to spend some time with Mother Olga before. It is like being in the presence of a living saint. She just radiates God's Love.
Our 4 youngest children were able to spend some time with her tonight. She has some new friends.
Her talk was to be on Mary as it is May. 5 minutes before her talk, the Holy Spirit told her that her talk should be about Joseph.
OH. MY.
What a talk.
Frank has had a devotion to St Joseph since he started his own business 12 years ago next month. I think the rest of us will take up that devotion.
Nathaniel told Mother she reminds him of Mary. (she does!)
Isabel wants to be a nun in her order. (OK!)
Julianne thinks she is fantastic to listen to (she is!)
and Lucas has now decided he wants to be a priest because he can't be a nun with Mother (I am OK with that, too!)
And, he is running around blessing everyone, because Mother asked him to give her a blessing before her talk.
If you have the opportunity to hear Mother speak - take it!
And, please, keep Mother Olga and her community in your prayers? Thank you.
Beautiful pics! She is wonderful and radiant, isn't she?? I had never heard of her before the women's conference here and now I feel like I was in the presence of a saint!!

ReplyDeleteI heard her for the first time at the Boston Women's Conference about 2 years ago and was blown away. We were then blessed to have her speak at our homeschool support group mom's night last year and then saw her again in December at the Catholic Radio Station conference.
Frank loves her! And it was so funny as she remembered him when we saw her on Sunday. You would think he had been given a pile of gold bars the way he was beaming after!
