That statement should have probably been made with exclamation points. This morning I finished my "clean the living room" project which was started on Monday.
I really had thought that it would take me 2, maybe 3, days.
Nope.
A full 5 days. That is just sad!
So here are the results. I tried to keep the order the same as the original post with the ugly pictures:

I managed to pack away lots of books; move some furniture out (I needed more space!); and reorganize the shelves.
I cleaned out enough that I was able to turn the center shelf in the back bookcase into a 'Rosary Shelf'.

| no, I do not plan to light the candle while on the shelf! |
It now holds our Mary statues, Rosary beads, books about the Rosary, as well as the basket of roses for toddler praying (an idea I swiped from Kimberlee, an extremely talented lady).
I am pretty darn happy with the results - now to convince the children it needs to stay pretty close to this.
Ah, a new project!

What a beautiful room! We have a Rosary table top- I have my husbands' Grannys Blessed Virgin statue, which I just love. Thank you for popping to say hi during Yarn Along, and I am so glad it has given me the opportunity to visit you! Blessings X
