Mansions!

On Wednesday (12/5) we had the opportunity to have a tour of the Mansions in Newport, Rhode Island, all dressed up for Christmas.

We had gone for a tour of the mansions a few years ago with Frank and a couple other HS families and enjoyed it.

This time around, the youngest 4, Maria and I went with 8 other families with about 18 other children to walk around Marble House, The Breakers, and The Elms.

Oh, My! what a great time we had. Everything was beautiful, the weather was fantastic, the children were all wonderful and my crew enjoyed themselves so much. We all are looking to go back with Daddy and the older girls this summer. I had to keep dragging Lucas and Julianne along. They were so fascinated with the mansions and loved the self-guided audio tour.

WARNING! lots of pictures to follow!
(we were limited to a couple Christmas trees in each house to take pictures inside the mansions)

As Maria had a walker, she was off on her own and able to
use the elevators. We would find her at the end of the tours -
she had a great time!
