Catherine participated in the last 4-H horse show of the year this past Sunday (10/21).
This show was sponsored by the 4-H club that 3 of my girls attend (Catherine, Isabel, and Julianne.)
I agreed to work the office this time - my first time, but definitely not the last! (it was a lot of fun - hectic, but fun)
Isabel and Julianne weren't riding this year (maybe next year); but they were helping out by running ribbons and other misc things to be done behind the scenes.
I finally got to see Catherine ride for the first time in about 4 years (maybe more, but 4 is bad enough.)
Frank, the boys and Maria joined us after the 2 big boys got back from scout camping. (oy, but weekends are busy around here!)
Catherine did great. She entered 4 classes and got 2 seconds and 2 thirds.
She then got Champion for the day in her division!
Way to go, Catherine!
And as a bonus, after about 10 hours working at the farm for the show, we got to go out for dinner!
This is someplace for me to keep track of the memories that I seem to forget in the everyday routines of being a servant: of God, my husband and my children.
