One of the perks of educating the children at home, we get to go places when other children are at school. Last week was the first week of school for most everyone here in Massachusetts.
Monday was Labor Day - we stayed home with Dad.
Tuesday we visited with friends: bonus for the kids, they had a trampoline.
On Wednesday we went to the Boston Museum of Science.
We specifically went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. We have a membership to the museum (a great Christmas present for the family from my Sister-in-law) and got to pay the discounted rate to see the Scrolls.
Of course, as soon as I took my first picture, the camera informed me the battery was dead and that was that.
What a great exhibit. Julianne and Lucas were enthralled with the scrolls and all the artifacts. They had to read everything! Nathaniel couldn't believe he had to spend the time looking at "old rocks." Isabel was going between the two thougths.
This is someplace for me to keep track of the memories that I seem to forget in the everyday routines of being a servant: of God, my husband and my children.
