M is for Masterpiece: I

I is for Impressionism,
the way an artist sees
a picture of the forest,
without those pesky trees.

We are finally back to this book.

Today, trying to explain impressionism: funny.

Instead of painting, we used markers instead. 'Coloring' was not allowed. They could 'pounce with the markers or smudge with the markers.

Trying to guess what everyone 'painted' was fun too.

Isabel: night time / day time

Lucas: pink snow

Nathaniel: a boat tied up on the shore

Julianne: self-potrait
