A New Year - A New Beginning?

Looking forward to see what 2016 will bring. I had a difficult time with 2015. Most people might think it is because I celebrated my 50th birthday at the end of 2015. Not true! I actually think that birthday was a highlight of the year. I have been looking forward to officially being 50 since I started rounding up after my 45th birthday! (true statement)

I think some of the issue was so many activities and things happening and a great work year for Frank (which translates to BUSY, BUSY, BUSY) and I just couldn't' seem to get organized. It felt like we spent most of out time trying to catch up.

I will have to try to put together a synopsis of what the children were all up to ... many, many good things.


I have to say 2016 started well. Lucas served Mass for the very first time on New Year's Eve. Nathaniel served with him and helped him out during Mass. I admit to a few tears!

I just wanted one picture! I couldn't even get a good smile from both at the same time.

We then welcomed the new year with many friends, and enjoying our annual lobster dinner. Our 29th, I think.

Looking forward to the next week and the new plans and schedules. 3 days in and so far 2016 is looking good!
