Digging potatoes this year.... We had a much better haul than last year!

Seems my garden is doing ok with the root vegetables this year. Everything else, not so much. Well, I guess it is ok, just not as good as previous years.

Nothing beats the taste of new potatoes ! We had a great year with taters too...everything else ..kinda so~so. No pumpkins this year, not a single one, we did however have lots of grapes ! Every year is different in the garden ! Hugs~~
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! while our potato harvest started out nicely as we dug occasionally for dinner, when the husband and son came up from our big potato harvest, I was sorely disappointed to see a small basket filled with not much. :( Glad your harvest was successful, my friend! I do know we'll have a terrific carrot harvest this year, so I'll just praise the Lord for that and ask for wisdom for next year's potatoes...
