Seven?!

Yep, another year has passed and my baby had another birthday.

7

How did that happen? For some reason 7 seems sooooo much older than 6!

He had a great day:

He woke up and promptly made a hole in his mouth by removing the loose tooth that has been bothering him!

Mom made him gluten-free chocolate donuts and he got to put sprinkles on them

We went to one of his best friends' house and had a 'Stone Soup' day. We had 3 families totally 15 children and we compared and contrasted 4 different versions of the story and made stone soup for lunch. While the soup was cooking, most of the children went out and sledded on my friend's enormous hill! (best time ever!)
(pictures are on a different camera)

We ate some soup, had cupcakes and sang 'Happy Birthday' to Lucas.

After dinner, Daddy took Lucas to get a new bike. He has worn out 3 since he got is very first brand-new bike on this birthday. Because it was dark when they got home (and very cold and rainy) he has to wait until this weekend to be able to really enjoy this bike!

Not a bad birthday at all.

We love you very much, Lucas! You definitely bring joy to all our lives!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

  1. Happy birthday to Lucas! Sounds like you had a wonderful celebration. :) Sorry we missed the Stone Soup Party. We were tuckered out after a busy week. It's just as well as didn't come b/c Nina came down with a fever over the weekend... And, to answer your comment from my training Happy Hearts blog post, I would love to celebrate St. Joseph's together again. I cannot on St. J day itself, but since the whole month is dedicated to him, we can certainly pick another time! :)

A New Start?

A test of sorts.....  I think I'm going to try something old-new.  It has been too many years since my last post. The world's differ...
