Isabel and Julianne participated in their first - EVA - 4-H horse show.
They did pretty well for their first time... They both participated in the 3 'lead-line' events. Basically they were riding with a more experienced rider holding the leads of the horses. Julianne had Catherine has her leader and Isabel had Zach, a friend of ours as her leader.
Isabel placed 4th in the 2 events indoor and 1st in the trail ride. Julianne placed 5th in the 2 events indoor and 2nd on trail. Because of the way everyone else in the class placed, Isabel ended up being Reserve Champion for the day!

The girls did a great job, especially considering it was about 95 degrees out and very humid.
