SNOW, SNOW, AND MORE SNOW

We have snow.

I think that might the best understatement I have made in a long time.

I took a few minutes yesterday morning to visit some of my favorite people in cyberspace. Dawn had this great idea that I stole.

She decided to take pictures of the same thing outside to see the progress of the storm. I thought this was fantastic and decided to take pictures of the front and back yards to watch the snow pile up.

BACK YARD:

FRONT YARD:

4:15PM

All those pictures were taken yesterday. The 11am picture is missing because I was out doing some last minute medicine getting. The 1pm picture is missing because we were dealing with this:

Catherine got home and parked her car in front of Frank's car. The Expedition decided it didn't like where we parked it and it wanted to go down the driveway. Both cars were parked and off! Fortunately, there was not a lot of damage to Catherine's car, but it was a bit un-nerving (and I have to admit to laughing my tooshie off!)

And now for the today photos!

the same spot in the back yard:

and the same spot in the front yard:

Bonus pictures of the side yard:

very pretty!

  2. OH - took me a minute to realize you meant the 'kissing cars'! I thought you meant having to clean out the 3 cars in the driveway (you can sort of see one in the picture above: the snow is up to the bottom of the window) - that was actually more painful!

congrats again on the newest to-be!

  3. OOOhhh! Too bad about the little "accident" -- I don't know if I would be laughing, my husband might, though. :)

Envying your snow; we've had so little this winter. And while I know winter isn't yet over, I just don't think it's going to happen here. We'll see...

Nesting. That's what you call it when you think you might be snowed in. :) Your house is lovely and bright! Blessings, ~Lisa
